Dunaj Plug-In

Current version: 0.1 (Build 1)

Dunaj is a plugin for Sony Vegas and any other video editor that supports Sony Vegas DirectX plug-ins. It complements the Bororo 3D plug-in, but is also useful for the editing of traditional 2D videos.

At this time, a pre-release is available containing only one additional effect, which allows to flip an image horizontally, vertically, or both (rotate).

The plug-in is free. Just download it from the link below. To install it you have to be logged in as an administrator, but once it is installed, you can use it whether you are logged in as an administrator or as a regular user.

The setup software has the .msi extension used by the Microsoft Installer that comes with Windows. You can either double-click on the file (after you have downloaded it, of course) and it will start installing, or right-click on it and select Install. If you want to uninstall it, you can either use the standard Windows programs manager, or just right-click on the .msi file again and select Uninstall.

All hail to Pythagoras and his theorem, without which this plug-in would not be possible.

Download the 32-bit version here. Obviously, it only works with the 32-bit version of Sony Vegas since 64-bit software can only use 64-bit DLLs. And 32-bit software can only work with 32-bit DLLs. You can install it on a 64-bit version of Windows, too. As long as you are working with 32-bit Sony Vegas, it does not matter what type of Windows you have.

I do have the 64-bit version of the plug-in available for download as well. It installs and works with 64-bit Sony Vegas.

If you have both versions of Sony Vegas (32 bits and 64 bits), you need to install both versions of the Dunaj plug-in, since Windows only allows 64-bit plug-ins to work with 64-bit software, and only 32-bit plug-ins with 32-bit software.
